Rooms & Pricing

We have three rooms open right now, from $850 to $1,250 a month. One has its own bathroom and the other two share. Two of the three open onto a balcony.

Utilities​

Utilities usually come to $100 to $150 per person a month. That covers electricity, water, gas and trash.

If you're arriving with a suitcase and not much else, we can partly furnish your room.

What's Included​

Every room comes with the run of the place:

• 1 to 5 Gbps fiber, in all three houses
• The Conservatory, a big glass room for dinners, work or music
• Hot tub and cold plunge, side by side
• Theatre room with a projector, a screen and real speakers. Movie nights and karaoke happen here.
• A shared self-driving Tesla for errands and getting around
• Barbell gym with no membership to pay
• Backyard chickens in a mobile coop, so there are usually eggs
• Guest loft for when people come to visit
• Woodwork shed with tools and space for projects
• Half an acre outside with fire pits, a propane grill and room for parties
• Three kitchens, fully stocked, one per house
• Several living rooms, so there's always somewhere to sit

The Community​

We're a healthy, considerate bunch. Grad students, artists, people who work in tech. Some of what tends to happen around here:

• Parties and the odd performance
• Band practice and jam sessions
• Tea parties, salons and long arguments about ideas
• Movie nights and karaoke
• Regular "family dinners"

Join in as much or as little as you like. There's plenty of quiet space if you're more of an introvert.

Location​

Travis Heights is quiet and green, and still close to everything:

• 3 to 10 minutes by car to downtown, Town Lake, South Congress and East Austin
• An easy ride by bike or scooter
• Trails and neighborhood spots you can walk to
